Jim & Kristi Cutright

Jim and Kristi Cutright were married in August 1975, and have been residents of Ashland since 1986. They have two grown children, Brad and Brittany.

Jim and Kristi’s passion for the Ashland County Community Foundation is borne out of a desire to give back to an Ashland community that has provided, in their view, a marvelous opportunity for their family to experience an outstanding quality of life since Jim began his working career here, as a construction management professional, in 1980.

In the interest of fostering a legacy of giving within their family, Jim and Kristi funded the “Cutright Family Scholarship,” an annual monetary award recognizing Ashland High School students participating in golf.

Locally, Jim (or “Cutty,” as he is widely known) has been active, with Kristi’s blessing and loving support, in service organizations such as the Elks, Rotary Club and Noon Lions, as well as a past board member of Hospice-NCO, The Ashland All-Sports Booster Club, The Country Club of Ashland and for five years, a trustee and Vice Chairman of ACCF.

Serendipitously, the Cutrights have also provided for a testamentary gift, in support of ACCF operations, as part of their estate planning, not realizing, at the time, that Cutty would join the ACCF staff in 2012, as its Executive Director.

Kristi and Cutty have commented, “We believe so strongly that ACCF provides the best local opportunity, combining endowment with flexibility, for individuals to accomplish their philanthropic goals.”
