The Women’s Fund of Ashland County Community Foundation is all about women helping women find power and purpose.

This mission is supported by a steering committee of local women who are passionate about:

The fund was established in 2004 to create a permanent legacy that enhances the lives of women in Ashland County.

Gifts to the Women’s Fund are invested, generating income to award grants to nonprofit organizations serving Ashland County women.

Unite with a community of like-minded women who want to meet the needs of local women today and invest in Ashland County women for years to come.

Once each year, the Women’s Fund Committee reviews grant requests and makes grant awards to programs and projects that benefit Ashland County women.

The Women’s Fund offers an annual scholarship for female, non-traditional students who are pursuing education to secure a better job.

The Women’s Fund Childcare initiative aims to expand access to high-quality, affordable childcare in Ashland County.

The Dr. Lucille G. Ford “Freedom from Selfishness” Award recognizes Ashland County women who demonstrate a long-standing commitment to philanthropy.

Through our annual Mother’s Day initiative, the Women’s Fund recognizes and honors women while raising money to support our cause.
