A graduate of Shelby High School and North Central State College, Larry obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at several companies to include Cooper Bessemer and Eagle Rubber before joining Johnson Bros Rubber in 1976. In March 1979, he married Sherry, a graduate of Ashland High School. They have 4 children, Debbie, Sandy, Becky and Bethany.

An active member of Grace Brethren Church, Sherry has been involved with Ashland Christian School for nine years. She volunteers at Good Shepherd and for the Ohio Reads program. Her hobbies include teaching crafts as well as interior decorating. Larry enjoys fishing, golfing, hunting, gardening, and flying. They both enjoy time together at home and occasional travel.

Both Larry and Sherry value their Ashland County and the work of the Foundation. Their testamentary gift supports the operations of the Foundation to help make Ashland County a better place to work and to live…for generations to come.
